The Father, The Mountains And Love Music and Lyrics by Timothy S. Klugh. Copyright © 2008 Timothy S. Klugh. All Rights Reserved.
Raised in the hills covered beneath the trees In the hollars deep down by the creeks, Along the muddy dirt roads that wander Through the valleys where one day we'd meet,
Not far apart we grew up the same way, Like Heaven prepared us to marry someday.
So thanks to the God who we prayed to in faith, Thanks to the old hills that kept our homes safe. Thanks to the dream that we share a part of The Father, the mountains and love.
Innocence sealed as we played out our childhood We were so close all of that time. Fate blazed the trail and it showed us the way So that we found each other one day.
Fifty years sense and now we celebrate The union between us has not been more great.
So thanks to the God who we prayed to in faith, Thanks to the old hills that kept our homes safe. Thanks to the dream that we share a part of The Father, the mountains and love.
Touched by a blessing the years only make This bond all the sweeter in joy we partake.
So thanks to the God who we prayed to in faith, Thanks to the old hills that kept our homes safe. Thanks to the dream that we share a part of The Father, the mountains and love.
So thanks to the God who we prayed to in faith, Thanks to the old hills that kept our homes safe. Thanks to the dream that we share a part of The Father, the mountains and love.
