You are three weeks old and full of grace.
With rhythm and love, God puts your heart in place.
Thought it's still forming, it's beating too.
Life beating at its own unique pace God has set for you.
Some hearts beat with spunk, some heart are more tame,
But God loves your heart just the same.
"Ouch! That hurts," she says as you hear her with your newly formed ears.
Your muscles are forming as you exercise.
Someday they'll be big and strong.
You will use them for lifting and running,
But right now, you just kick Mom.
Sleep is what you need now, twenty hours a day.
Now, sleep tight so someday you can grow and play.
With your eyes formed blue,
You can dream of all that is pure and true.
So dream, little one,
Of the past, present and is to come.
You must always dream, you see.
God gave us dreams to pave the way through history.
That journey was over seven years ago.
It was really exciting to see you grow!
Now your world is a bigger place
Full of wonders, adventures, and saving grace.
The love that made you whole
Is the same love that will enrich your life and fill it full.
So, trust, young one, in the Lord.
He will guide your ways
And on eagle's wings, you will soar!
