Fairy Tales Don't Lie

One thing I have learned in this life is that the fairy tales don't lie. We may not see these creatures in the world, for they rather reside inside us. There are witches, goblins, fairies and wolves that are just as potent as their fabled counterparts. There are frog princes, Cinderellas, Little Red Riding Hoods, and Prince Charmings. There are Sir Mordreds, King Bluebeards, Queen of Heartses, and Rumpelstiltskins too. Unlike the story characters, we all switch roles over and over again in our lifetimes... the good and the evil, the victim and the monster. Fairy tales tell us about ourselves and the consequences of what roles we choose to play.
