Our spring seminar and open house was a great success. It was fun to see how much our group knows about the music business. We picked up a new member and we showed ourselves that we can put on a seminar for new members, all we have to do next year is advertise better and plan ahead more. The information from members was outstanding. I talked about the music business and the subject of encoding came up. Mark brought us up to date on poetry and his favorite styles. Marion talked on lyrics, Ramona and Jacque on the Nashville scene. Jacue passed out great information about what goes on where and when in Nashville. Tim and Brian filled us in on recording and demo making. SPC and SOCO are joining forces to get Allen Rhody to the Jackson house on May 17th. See bulletin for details. We will plan a seminar for next fall as well with SOCO. We may cut SPC meetings to one per month this summer. Check newsletter for such changes. Pres. Steve SPC
